PowerPoint has an impressive repertoire of charts. Some are used more often than others. Radar charts, which compare the aggregate values of several data series are one of the lesser-used chart types. However, that should not discourage you from exploring radar charts.
Radar charts, also known as spider charts or star plots, are useful for visualizing data involving two or more variable quantities. They are particularly well-suited for comparing these multiple variables across different categories or groups. Radar charts are effective in highlighting patterns, similarities, and differences in the data. Do note that while radar charts can look visually stunning, they do have inherent limitations. They can be more challenging to interpret accurately compared to other chart types, especially when there are many variables or overlapping data. So, do consider specific characteristics of your data, as well as insights you want to express to your audience, and then decide if a radar chart is the best choice for you.

Radar charts have the following subtypes:
A basic radar chart displays changes in values, relative to a center point, as shown in Figure 1, below.
