Among the tabs within Backstage view, we have already explored the Open, New, and Save, tabs. In this tutorial, we will explore the Share tab, that has options to share the current presentation through the cloud via OneDrive, or to present online using the Office Presentation Service. You can also email the presentation as an attachment, a link, a PDF or XPS file, or fax it! Finally, you can publish slides to a SharePoint site.

Reading view is the default view in PowerPoint Online. It is similar to the Slide Show view in some ways because, in both views, the slide is shown in full-screen mode. However, in Reading view, you also see the PowerPoint Title Bar and the Status Bar at the top and bottom of the interface respectively.

Sometimes, you want to know whether you are running a 32 or 64-bit version of PowerPoint or Office. Yes, if you are running a 32-bit version of Windows, then there’s no ambiguity in the fact that you have to be running a 32-bit version of Office. But if you are running a 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows, you may be running a 32 or a 64-bit version of Office. Luckily, it’s easy to identify 32-bit or 64-bit if you know where to look.

PowerPoint 2016 continues providing several views that enable you to view and edit your slides. Unarguably, Normal view is the default and most often used view. This view displays one slide at a time in the Slide Area, and is used mainly for editing and creating slides, and shows PowerPoint's typical tri-pane interface that includes the Slides Pane, the Slide Area, and the Notes Pane.

Most of the time, you may work on a single slide in your PowerPoint presentation, but there are times when you want to copy, duplicate, reorder, or even delete a bunch of slides. It’s in scenarios like these that you will encounter PowerPoint 2016’s Slide Sorter view. Among the various views available in PowerPoint 2016 to play and edit your presentations, we have already covered both Normal view and Outline view. Although Slide Sorter view does not let you edit individual slide objects, it does let you work with the whole slide itself. Any edits made will influence one or more slides, depending on your selection.

We explore the amazing new 3D animation feature in PowerPoint for Office 365 subscribers. You can play with these five new animations that work with 3eD models inside PowerPoint. The Outline view in PowerPoint 2016 provides access to your presentation’s text outline through the Slides/Outline pane on the left side of the PowerPoint interface. The Outline view displays all the text contained within the title and text placeholders of your slides, and is one of the ten views in PowerPoint 2016 for Windows.

Slide Master view is an important view within PowerPoint 2016. Why? Because, if you make any changes or edits within this view, these modifications will influence all slides within your presentation. For example, if you want to make your company logo appear on all the slides, you will have to add the logo within the Slide Master. If you want the font size of your slide titles to be a little larger or smaller, then those edits also need to be made in the Slide Master.
