Download and Install the STAMP Add-in in PowerPoint 2016, 2013, and 2010 for Windows

The STAMP add-in is designed for PowerPoint 2016, 2013 and 2010, and is a subtitling add-in for video and audio files. This tutorial will help you downloading the add-in and installing it.

Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Go to the SourceForge STAMP PowerPoint Add-In web page, as shown in Figure 1.

  3. Now click the green Download button, as shown in Figure 1. This action allows you to download and save the add-in file to your computer.
  4. Run the downloaded file, and you will see the interface shown in Figure 2, below.

  6. Follow the steps in the installation wizard.
  7. When done with the installation wizard, verify that the add-in installed correctly by opening PowerPoint. In PowerPoint, click the File button, and from the resultant Backstage menu, choose Options (highlighted in red within Figure 3).

  9. This opens the PowerPoint Options dialog box, as shown in Figure 4.

  11. Click the Add-Ins tab within the pane on the left side, and verify that Sub-titling Add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint is listed under Active Application Add-ins list, as shown in Figure 5.
